Terms of Service

1. About the service

Fintel Insight is a one-time data infrastructure audit service operated by Fintel Analytics ("we", "us", "our"). By purchasing and using Fintel Insight, you ("Customer", "you") agree to these Terms of Service in full. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. The service

Fintel Insight connects to your cloud data warehouse(s) and/or GitHub repository using read-only credentials you provide, collects schema metadata and query patterns, and uses AI models to generate a scored PDF audit report covering Cost & FinOps, Data Quality, Security, and Code Quality. The report is delivered to your email address within approximately 10 minutes of payment.

The audit is informational only. Findings and cost estimates are generated by AI models and are not a guarantee, certification, or professional opinion. You are responsible for validating and acting on any recommendations in your own environment.

3. Payment

The service costs USD $99 per audit, payable at the time of purchase. Payment is processed securely by Stripe. We do not store your payment card details. All prices are in US dollars. You are responsible for any applicable taxes in your jurisdiction.

4. Refund policy

We want you to be satisfied with your audit. Our refund policy is straightforward:

• Full refund — if the audit fails to deliver a PDF report to your email within 60 minutes of payment (due to a connector error, system failure, or any fault on our side), you are entitled to a full refund. Email us at info@fintel-analytics.com within 14 days of purchase with the email address used at checkout.
• No refund once the PDF is delivered — once your report has been sent to your email, the service is considered fulfilled and no refund is available. This applies regardless of whether you agree with the findings or whether your data sources had insufficient data to generate meaningful results.

To request a refund: email info@fintel-analytics.com with the subject line "Refund request" and your order email address. We will process eligible refunds within 5 business days.

5. Your responsibilities

• You must have the legal right to grant Fintel Insight read-only access to the data sources you connect. Do not connect data sources belonging to others without their explicit authorisation.
• You must provide read-only credentials only. We validate this and will reject administrative or superuser credentials, but the responsibility for correct credential scoping remains yours.
• You must not use the service to attempt to extract, copy, or misuse data from sources you do not own or have rights to.
• You must not attempt to circumvent, reverse-engineer, or abuse the service.

6. Data and credentials

By connecting a data source, you grant Fintel Analytics a temporary, limited, read-only licence to access that data source for the sole purpose of generating your audit report. This licence terminates automatically when your credentials are purged (immediately after audit completion or failure).

We never access, copy, or transmit your actual data rows — only schema metadata (table names, column names, query patterns). Full details are in our Privacy Policy.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Fintel Analytics' total liability to you for any claim arising from or related to the service shall not exceed the amount you paid for the audit ($99).

We are not liable for: (a) any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages; (b) loss of profits or data; (c) decisions made based on the audit report; or (d) any inaccuracies in AI-generated findings.

8. No warranties

The service is provided "as is". We make no warranties, express or implied, regarding the accuracy, completeness, or fitness for purpose of the audit report. AI-generated findings are probabilistic and should be reviewed by a qualified engineer before acting on them.

9. Intellectual property

Your audit report is yours. Fintel Analytics retains all intellectual property rights in the Fintel Insight service, methodology, and software. You may not resell or represent the report as produced by a tool or methodology you own.

10. Changes to the service

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the service at any time. We will not modify pricing for a purchase already completed. Material changes to these Terms will be reflected in an updated "Last updated" date.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
